Much left wing ink (electrons, really) has been exhausted in vilifying the tea party movement. Yet, recent polls are showing a large percentage of tea partiers are Democrats. Analysis continues on this recent phenomenon, examples here and here. I was at the last year's tea party really in Columbus and I plan to go to the next. I must be one of those crazies.
A real understanding of the tea parties comes from as unlikely a source as a David Letterman interview with Pam Stout below.
I am proud to have this lady, Pam Stout, as the voice of the tea party movement.
C'mon, Janeane Garofalo . Call Pam Stout a racist or other nasty names in public. I dare you.
