“Take those God darn hoodies down, especially in the summer. Pull your pants up and buy a belt ’cause no one wants to see your underwear or the crack of your butt. Nobody.”These observations are certainly not limited to black youths, either, although some are addressed to the worst of urban styles.
“If you walk into somebody’s office with your hair uncombed and a pick in the back, and your shoes untied, and your pants half down, tattoos up and down your arms and on your neck, and you wonder why somebody won’t hire you? They don’t hire you ’cause you look like you’re crazy!”
“The Immaculate Conception of our Lord Jesus Christ took place a long time ago, and it didn’t happen here in Philadelphia. So every one of these kids has two parents who were around and participating at the time. They need to be around now.”
“Parents who neglect their children, who don’t know where they are, who don‘t know what they’re doing, who don‘t know who they’re hanging out with, you’re going to find yourself spending some quality time with your kids in jail.”
To fathers: “If you’re not providing the guidance, and you’re not sending any money, you’re just a sperm donor.”

Quote of the Day: Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter
The following quotes come from Mayor Nutter's remarks from the Mount Carmel; Baptist Church pulpit where he excoriated some (obviously not all) of the black, urban youth of his city in which he said about flash mobs that attack the innocent on Philadelphia streets, “You’ve damaged yourself, you’ve damaged another person, you’ve damaged your peers and, quite honestly, you’ve damaged your own race” He also said,

STOPPING FLASH MOB & GROUP ATTACKS.
If you listen to me “Flash Mobs”OR Group Attacks will be stopped and or deterred! First make it illegal for any store to operate without video cameras. From the mom & pop to the big big stores! FIRST:
1. If a cop capture any one of the participants in the Flash Mob 0r Group Attackers). That person will be charge a thousand dollars for each of the other participants plus his or herself!
2. The only way the person capture can reduce their fine is by identifying other participant in the “Flash Mob“..or Group Attackers!
3. The videotape of the “Flash Mob be shown daily on every news channel until all are capture!
4. If someone from the public identify a “Flash Mob” participant. That person would be paid two thousand dollar by the person he or she identify!
5. NO jail time if the Flash Mob” "or Group Attackers participant DO NOT have a weapon…Instead the participant if not in school must get a high school diploma. If he or she has one they must get a college degree two or four year degree. Then paid their fines!
6. If they drop out there fine must be paid in 6 months…..if not paid….. 5 days in jail then another 6 month to paid and another $1,000...repeat until paid!
NOTE” Create a web page and publish the partcipants picture and their static...Whether they been capture or still at large! The Department of Correction must create a uniform program. Where Flash Mob & Group Attackers are sentence to wear a yellow uniform for the amount of time sentence or until fines are paid. These uniform will be wore everyday! The uniform will state the crime the participant is sentence to! It would also have the inmates number. Law Enforcement must learn that jail and prison is not a solution to all criminal acts! Matter of fact in my opinion jail and prison create a better criminal and the public pays many times over! First the public pays by the crime…Then by placing the criminal in jail or prison.. The public pay with there taxes! Then by having a criminal record the criminal can’t get a job…So the public taxes pay by way of welfare or more criminal activity! Politician must draft laws that protect Americans citizen.
NOW YOU DO SOMETHING
For the past couple of months "Flash Mobs" have been in the news Philly ,New York and Chicago. What bother me is how Mayor Nutter and Charles H. Ramsey Chief of Police handle police brutality against citizen! The country witness a white Philadelphia police officer shot himself, then blame the shooting on a black man. The public also saw a video beating of handcuffed unarmed black men. Chief Ramsey was worthless as a leader in correcting the police brutality! Then it's the needless murder of Sean Bell! The Philly leadership is worthless in correcting and or stopping police brutality! They will just blame parent for Flash Mobs then impose a curfew!
In New York white police murdered Amadou Diallo who was unarmed at the time of the shooting, and a firestorm of controversy erupted subsequent to the event as the circumstances of the shooting prompted outrage both within and outside New York City. Issues such as police brutality, racial profiling, and contagious shooting were central to the ensuing controversy. But nothing done to stop or prevent this evil from happening again!
Police brutality seems like it's becoming more and more prevalent with the availability of YouTube and LiveLeak videos. The reality is, however, that police brutality is likely just as prevalent as it has always been, but now vigilante citizens armed with camera and video recording cell phones can more easily document it.
One thing's for sure: when it comes to attracting attention for police brutality and excessive force, as well as corruption and other questionable practices, no police department across the United States has been as notorious as the Chicago Police Department, at least in 2007.
And there's a good reason for their notoriety. As a recent CNN article reported, statistics show that between 2002 and 2004, more than 10,000 complaints were filed against City of Chicago police officers. Of course, you must keep in mind that, according to FBI crime reports, the city of Chicago arrested nearly 600,000 persons in the same time period.
A surveillance video at Jessie's Shortstop Inn Tavern shows a man brutally beating a female bartender, and this man turned out to be 12-year Chicago police veteran Anthony Abbate. After beating the woman and causing her personal injury, Abbate reportedly threatened to arrest any of the bar patrons who reported him. According to news reports on the incident, the Chicago Police Department tried to hide the offense, first by offering the victim money not to prosecute, then by charging the officer with a misdemeanor count without informing the State's Attorney's Office. It came out in the investigation that Abbate had prior DUI-related offenses, as well as arrests for drag racing and driving on a suspended license before he became a cop.
So the truth is these "Flash Mobs' ( which I hate) is just as mad as police brutality in America! Police officer in America operate with know respect for policy or protocol!
Interesting comments, Tyrone. I agree with you about the problem of police brutality, but it is not simply a black-white problem. There is a disturbing trend toward militarization of the police and blocking recording of police by citizens.

Check out the actions of a terrible (now suspended pending investigation) Canton, Ohio police officer here. To his credit, the Canton Police Chief acted immediately and publicly apologized for the behavior of the officer.
AIYANA JONES GOT NO JUSTICE AND NO PUBLIC OUT CRY
After hearing that nobody will pay for the death of Caylee Anthony. I was outrage but not surprise! Ones again white on white crime would not be acknowledge and white American justice would win again. The public out cry has turn into death threat to the jurors and the judge! Protector shout out again the verdict and Casey Anthony. In Florida many residents in Casey’s family neighborhood state they don’t want Casey to return. It would not be save for her in Florida.
The public can’t believe with the amount of evident against Casey Anthony. She got off! There is so much outrage and condemning the justice system. For allowing a murderer of a child to walk free!
Now change the race of the murder victim from white to black. Seven year old Aiyana Jones didn’t receive near as much out cry from the public! Matter of fact many whites American said nothing! When a white Detroit police officers raided the home of Aiyana Jones. They were in search of a murder suspect that lived in the above apartment of Aiyana Jones. Before entering the property many in the neighborhood shouted. There are children inside.
It didn’t matter the children were black the neighborhood was black. The police see black people as less then human. Especially white police officers! Disrespect of black life is the way of life in the USA! Hate and divide is practice in America!
So the cop threw a flash bomb into the property which lit a sleeping Aiyana on fire. Then kick in the door and fire a shot into the neck of Aiyana. Killing the unarmed innocent child! Later the cop would lie and blame the reason the child was shot on the grandmother! TOTAL LIE! Had the cops knock on the door they would have found out that the suspect was asleep in the upstairs apartment!
In Atlanta GA. Black senior citizen 92 year old Kathryn Johnston met the same fate as Aiyana Jones. The different the three white police officers totally raided the wrong home! There was no suspect. They had a no knock warrant so they kicked in the door! Then fire 39 shots at Ms. Johnston. Six hit their mark killing Ms. Johnston. As she lay dying the lowlife police officer put a gun in her hand and drugs in her basement!
Then they tried to get a black man to say he brought drugs from Ms. Johnston. He refuse! In their report the cops stated. That Ms. Johnston fire on them first LIE! They stated that drugs were brought from the home LIE! 7 year old Aiyana Jones and 92 year old Kathryn Johnston had one thing in common NO NOBODY CARES THEIR CIVIL RIGHTS WERE VIOLATED!
