In a true show of regulatory excess, the NLRB is going to hold hearings about stopping Boeing from locating a plant in south Carolina, a right to work state.
Boeing's crime?
Boeing originally considered locating in the State of Washington and discussed it with the union, which insisted as a condition that the union have representation on Boeing's board and the Boeing guarantee that all such aircraft be built at the Puget Sound location. Read about it in the Wall Street Journal.
Why would Boeing bother to stay in the United States with this sort of Obnama-esque business climate?
Isn't the slow regulatory ratchet telling us all to look elsewhere?
