For the first time since his election, President Obama's approval ratings in both the Gallup and Rasmussen polls are below 50%.
Gallup has the approval rating at 49% and disapproval at 44%.
For March 12, 2010, Rasmussen has approval at 44%. More significantly, the passion index -- strongly approve minus strongly disapprove -- is at -16 points. The passion index measures those people most likely to take action (like vote). The Rasmussen results change daily.
