State of the Delusion Speech: Obama's Many Lies

The AP reported on his top ten lies here.

My favorite? He said his administration has "excluded lobbyists from policymaking jobs." That generated an audible spontaneous gasp from the Congressional audience. According to the AP, [S]even waivers from the ban have been granted to White House officials alone." Most pundits point to many, many more lobbyists throughout the administration.

[I disagree with Obama on the need for such a ban. There are certainly downsides to lobbyists, but former lobbyists bring a private industry perspective to the government to balance out the influence of entrenched career bureaucrats that never had to meet a payroll.]

Full text of the delusional rant here, but the audible gasps at the more blatant lies are not recorded.

Mr. Justice Alito mouths "Not true" during the rant. See it here.

Canned GOP response here.

Washington Times editorial: "Obama's loose grip on reality."

Here is the take of the ever insightful Jonah Golberg.

UK Guardian report of Democratic anger and disarray at the delusional leadership here.

Update: From Mike Adams:

Q: What do you call an Irish communist?

A: O’Bama.
