I have received a truly odd article from Islamonline.net. The article argues with apparent sincerity that born again Christians want war with Islam to hasten the Rapture, so they can meet Jesus. This sort of thinking is credible to those who themselves would like to die in a holy war to acquire the services of 50 virgins.
The paper argues that George Bush is a born again Christian. Therefore, he is pushing for Armageddon. Download the paper here.
The footnotes (among other things) are flawed. For example, one footnote claims that there have been 100,000 civilian lives lost in Iraq. However the article cited really does not support the number. As the footnoted article says, the large number was an estimate based upon an inference.
Anything to paint a negative picture, I guess.
