I attended the Tea Part in Columbus, along with about 6,000 (my estimate) of my closest friends.
Obviously President Obama's dismissive comments about the tea parties shows that he does not yet get the point. He thinks that it is just about taxpayers unhappy on tax filing day.
No, Mr. President.
It is about an uprising of citizens unhappy with your porkulous bill and other runaway government spending, threatening to mortgage future generations.
You know it is getting bad when there is talk of secession as we heard from Texas. Maybe talk that will begin to penetrate that thick political hides -- Democrat and Republican -- that run our country's excessive government.
Update: Who is the awful CNN reporter who insists on embarrassing herself and CNN with her behavior?
Further update: Her name is Susan Roesgen. What a clown! Another reason to avoid CNN.
