Last night in the second debate, President Obama said that the reason we had $186 gasoline in 2009 when he took office, and not now, is that the economy was collapsing then.
Yes, in the land of Obama's Bizarro School of Economics cheaper fuel does not mean lower costs for consumers, lower costs for travel and more tourism, lowers costs of consumer and commercial goods. No. It means the economy is collapsing.
Obama wants you to pay higher gasoline costs, because in his bizarro land, it means the economy is strong ... as it has been the last three-plus years when unemployment exceeded 8%.
Was he lying? Or just too economically ignorant to be or remain President or the United States?
You decide.

You Didn't Get There On Your Own
The liars on the Democratic side are complaining that "You didn't build that" was taken out of context. What follows is the full context of "You didn't build that."
In context, the statement says everything the Republicans claim it said. Everything. Except the precise quote would be, "If you've been successful, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own."
You see, Barack Obama thinks that government is some sort pf partner in anyone's success.
I've got news for Barack: Government is an obstacle to business success. The government routinely encourages failure ... unless you have the connections to get a crony capitalism deal from the government.
The Republican focus on "You didn't build that" is entirely fair and fairly encapsulates the Obama message, even if the precise quote should be "If you've been a success, you didn't get there on your own. You didn't get there on your own."
It means the same thing.

Obama Shows Lack of Class
In presidential campaigns, there is a longstanding courteous tradition of NOT campaigning during the other party's convention. Candidate Obama plans to break that tradition and campaign anyway.
It is sad we have a president with such little courtesy or class.
Obama. Must. Go. In January.

Despicable Obama Ad
The first of many to come, a despicable ad from a despicable campaign suggesting that Mitt Romney is responsible for the death of a women after Bain Capital closed down an unprofitable plant, which actually happened two years after Mitt Romney left the day-to-day operation of Bain.
Even CNN agrees that it was outrageous. CNN looked into the facts demonstrating that the ad is completely dishonest:
Although the ad was put out be a so-called super-pac, the Obama campaign refuses to disclaim it. IF there is a better word than despicable to describe this ad and the Obama campaign, I'd like to know what it is.

Obama's Incredibly Deceitful Campaign
The Obama campaign is accusing Mitt Romney of lying about what President Obama said about small business. How dare Mitt Romney quote President Obama's actual words! How dare Mitt Romney not use what the President now says he really meant to say and did say later (which, fully in context, means the same thing he said earlier). See story here. The president's further explanation means exactly the same thing he originally said in the speech.
We are talking about the Elizabeth Warren theory that the government is behind all business success. The theory is that the government spends moneyplundered taxed from its citizens to build infrastructure. the problem with the theory is that ANYONE could use the infrastructure to build a business, but only a few do. As to those who do build a business, Obama demeans them with the false notion that the government was somehow a partner. In most cases today, a business must overcome many government roadblocks to succeed. The government is an obstacle, not a partner.
Government is the reason more entrepreneurs don't succeed. Ask any entrepreneur of a past failed business trying to get back on his or her feet, but are shackled by the obligation to pay payroll taxes, liability for which never go away and is not dischargeable in bankruptcy. It is forever a bondage to the tax man.

Obama Campaign "Despicable" Says Nolte
As presidential campaigns go, "President and his campaign have been as vicious and despicable as any campaign in recent memory" says John Nolte.
Obama's campaign attacks success and seeks to bring forth in voters that cardinal sin: envy. Romney fights back:

Federal Paycheck Fairness? How Dumb Can You Get?
President Obama's Paycheck Fairness bill?
If you hate women in the workplace, you've got to love the Paycheck Fairness Act.
Exactly how stupid do you have to be to think that sort of federal law is a good idea? Such a federal law would be extraordinarily stupid. How dumb is the bill? It would have many ill effects:
1. It would create incentives for businesses to avoid hiring women.
3. It would create another massive federal bureaucracy to micro-manage business employment practices.
4. It is not a proper Federal matter under constitutional federalism principles. If it were really a good idea for government, let the states try it.
I think women should have an equal right to seek employment opportunities without government punishing employers for hiring them. That is exactly when this bill would do.
Are YOU dumb enough to be a supporter, as President Obama is?

Obama's War on Truth part 3 (for today)
Michelle Malkin's column today details the lies and subsequent cover up that led to President Obama's drilling moratorium.
He's got to go next January, he really does. There isn't time to impeach and try him before then.

Obama's War on Truth Part 2 (for today)
The Columbus dispatch is reporting on President Obama's campaign kick off in Columbus last Saturday, saying that the Obama campaign moved supporters to empty seats behind the president to make it look better for TV.

Reason #6 Obama is a Bad President
Eric Holder. Why? How about: Fast and Furious? How about refusing to take default judgment against polling place intimidation thugs who were Black panthers? How about stonewalling Congress when they ask about Fast and Furious?
Obama's War on Truth Continues
The Obama's campaign's latest ad, a follow up from the Julia fiasco, has Brian Slagle claiming to be a laid off autoworker who got his job back thanks to Obama and the stimulus. The trouble is, it is a lie. Brian Slagle has been an employee of Johnson Controls since 2006, according to Slagle's own facebook page (information since removed). Source: Weekly Standard.

Reason #5 Obama is a Bad President
Solyndra.
$535 Million taxpayer money wasted. down the tubes. All for political gain. And this one company is the tip of a very large iceberg.
Where does the government get the authority to make risky business investments with our money?

Reason #4 Obama is a Bad President
The President's campaign has published an enemies list on its web site, specifically a list of campaign donors to Mitt Romney. This is a blatant attempt to intimidate potential donors against donating to Romney. Read the commentary on it at the link above.
This chills free speech, and I have to say, it is pure evil.
Evil.
Bad president.

Reason #3 Obama is a Bad President
It has taken us three years for the United States to begin an economic recovery from his stimulus package. I can only hope that the nation can recover from his deficits by the time our grandchildren come of age.

Reason #2 Obama is a Bad President
The Federal government under President Obama is at war against the citizens of this country.
For example USEPA is prepared to "crucify" violators of arcane, overly complex and virtually incomprehensible environmental laws and regulations. So admits the EPA Region VI Administrator Al Armendariz:
Fire. Them. All.
